Assessment Glossary

Here is the link to the assessment glossary Bruce mentioned in class. I hope it goes without saying to be careful with how you use it. It could be helpful inasmuch as it creates a foundation on which to build your understanding. But don’t let any of the terms go unexamined or unchallenged. Each term is far more ideological than it might appear in this official form. Note, for example, how the definition of validity starts with the standard line and then adds on a reference to accuracy and appropriateness.
